Job Description

81-year old man diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis is looking for an in-home caregiver who will provide personal care, companionship, assistance with his daily routine, personal hygiene, showering, dressing, mobility, exercising, monitor vital signs and exacerbation of symptoms, organize and administer medication, prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals, keep the home clean and free of irritants, do laundry. The caregiver needs to have at least a high school diploma, be able to speak clearly in English and have at least one year experience as a caregiver or 6-months related caregiver training. Position is full time 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, two days off: generally Friday and Saturday but this may vary according to the employer’s needs, therefore flexibility is important for the employer.
