Woodcutter’s Blanket, a popular restaurant and bar located at 112 Strickland Whitehorse, YT Y1A 2J5, has immediate vacancy for 1 Kitchen Manager. Position is Full time/Permanent, 30 hrs/week, $20.75/hr. Secondary school education is required. Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline OR several years of experience in food preparation or service are required. Language of work will be English. Job duties involve: • Requisition food and kitchen supplies • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards • Prepare food order summaries for chef • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres Please send resumes by email to james.maltby@gmail.com
