Woodcutter’s Blanket, a popular restaurant and bar located at 112 Strickland Whitehorse, YT Y1A 2J5, has immediate vacancy for 1 Kitchen Helper. Position is Full time/Permanent, 30 hrs/week, $20.00/hr. Language of work will be English. No formal education required. Some experience as a kitchen helper will be an asset. Job duties involve: • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware • Place dishes in storage area • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment • Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas • Remove kitchen garbage and trash • Sharpen kitchen knives • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit Please send resumes by email to james.maltby@gmail.com
