Job Description
Energy North Construction is a leading construction company located at 51 Macdonald Road Whitehorse, YT Y1A 4R1. They specialize in providing top-notch insulation and coatings services that include blow-in cellulose, spray foam insulation, renovations, and asbestos work. The company has an immediate vacancy of 1 construction helper. Position is Full-Time, Permanent, $28.00/hour. No formal education required. The applicant must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The job is physically demanding. Some experience as a construction helper will be an asset. Language of work will be English. Job duties involve: • Load, unload and transport construction materials • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs • Level earth to fine grade specifications • Pave and rake asphalt • Assist in demolishing buildings • Clean and pile salvaged materials • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction Send resumes by email to energynorthad@gmail.com.
